Table Tennis Canada – On behalf of the TTCAN Board of Directors, the Members Council, and all players and officials in Canadian table tennis, we congratulate Eugene, Mo and the coaches for this excellent performance. This is a great day for Canadian Table Tennis.

Mo Zhang was very excited about her Gold Medal win in the Mixed Doubles “It is much easier to compete in Singles, but against a strong Brazilian team we got more comfortable and found our game. I am very happy with the win of the Gold Medal.”

I would also like to congratulate Alicia and Mo for winning a Bronze medal in the Women’s Doubles.

Unfortunately Eugene and Jeremy bowed out in the quarter-finals of the men’s doubles after a very close 4-3 battle; but they both won their first round match in singles. We wish them and Mo all the best in the singles.

So far, one Gold and one Bronze in three events. Four more events to go (MS, WS, MT and WT).
