The host UBC Thunderbirds are off to the final of the 2025 CGIS U SPORTS Women’s Rugby Championship, presented by The Rec Room Granville, where they will face the top-seeded Victoria Vikes in a rematch of both last year’s national championship game and this year’s Canada West final. Both teams fought off both the rain and their Ontario opposition, as Victoria shut out Guelph 45-0 while UBC outlasted Queen’s 20-14. In earlier action, Laval and Ottawa advanced to Sunday’s fifth-place game after picking up wins on Friday.
