Sport Law provides update on final Ontario Not-for-Profit Corporations Act (“ONCA”)

September 27, 2021 – Sport Law is committed to sharing relevant knowledge to sport leaders using a variety of mediums including newsletters, webinars, workshops, keynotes, educational sessions, and blogs.

After an official act in 2010, and many revisions later, the Ontario Not-for-Profit Corporation act (“ONCA”), will finally be proclaimed on October 19, 2021.

Sport Law has produced a series of blog posts over the years to keep the Ontario sport community apprised of the Act’s progress. In the latest blog, Steve Indig, focusses on the implementation of the Act, new amendments to the legislation, what Not-for-Profit organizations have to do and the relevant time-lines.
