Ottawa, Ont. – Softball Canada is thrilled to announce the roster selected for the inaugural U15 Women’s National Team program.
The roster, comprising 16 athletes and two alternates, will compete at the WBSC Americas II Pan American U15 Women’s Championship, set to take place in Acapulco, Mexico, from March 20–29, 2025. This event serves as a qualifier for the WBSC U15 Women’s Softball World Cup, scheduled for later this summer in Italy.
“This is an exciting time for our program,” said Kaleigh Rafter, Head Coach of the Women’s National Team. “These athletes have demonstrated exceptional skill, dedication, and passion for the sport. We are proud to have them represent Canada on the international stage and look forward to seeing them thrive in Acapulco.”
The roster features athletes from four provinces, with British Columbia leading the way with 10 representatives. Ontario follows with four athletes, while Alberta and Saskatchewan each contribute two players.
