Seiser Alm Italy – January 18th, 2020 – The world’s top Slopestyle athletes continue to defy gravity in Italy.
 
After qualifying in fourth last week, Elena Gaskell claimed a spot on the podium in Italy.
 
In a tight battle with American Caroline Claire Elena held strong and finished to claim third spot on the podium with a 79.68. Elena “couldn’t be more proud “of her first top 3 slope result.
 
Etienne Geoffrey Gagnon from the Yukon was the top Canadian male finishing in 6th. Recovering from a big crash earlier he got a 79 on his second run. “Next up some rest and powder skiing in Whistler before the Mammoth World Cup”.

Seiser Alm Italy – January 18th, 2020 – The world’s top Slopestyle athletes continue to defy gravity in Italy.
 
After qualifying in fourth last week, Elena Gaskell claimed a spot on the podium in Italy.

Etienne Geoffrey Gagnon from the Yukon was the top Canadian male finishing in 6th. Recovering from a big crash earlier he got a 79 on his second run. “Next up some rest and powder skiing in Whistler before the Mammoth World Cup”. Après s’être qualifiée 4e la semaine dernière, Elena Gaskell a terminé sur le podium cette semaine en Italie.
 
Lors d’une chaude lutte contre l’Américaine Caroline Claire, Elena a eu le dessus pour ainsi se hisser sur la troisième marche du podium avec un pointage de 79,68. Elena affirme qu’elle « ne pourrait pas être plus fière » de cette médaille de bronze.
 
Etienne Geoffroy Gagnon du Yukon a été le meilleur Canadien en terminant au 6e rang. Remis d’une bonne chute connue un peu plus tôt dans la compétition, les juges lui ont accordé une note de 79 lors de sa deuxième descente. « À venir pour nous avant la prochaine Coupe du Monde à Mammoth, un peu de repos et du ski dans la poudreuse à Whistler ».
