Sail Canada – Updates

The Sail Canada 2020 Virtual AGMwas a success!

The 2020 Sail Canada Annual General Meeting and Leader Summit looked a little different this year, taking place virtually through Zoom, GoTo Meetings, and Election Buddy. The Sail Canada Board of Directors, Staff, Provincial Sailing Associations, Committees, Coaches and Partner Representatives gathered throughout the week to discuss current affairs and establish working plans for the future.

The AGM took place online on Friday, October 16th, highlighting the main strategic goals, accomplishments, and planned initiatives for the future. The Sail Canada membership elected two Directors at Large.

It is with great pleasure that Sail Canada congratulates Kate MacLennan on his reelection to the Board for a 3-year-term, while welcoming Valerie Lavigne to the Board for a 3-year term.

Sail Canada would like to extend many thanks to departing Board member, Alicia Damley who has shown much dedication and commitment to the board over the past few years.
