Sail Canada News Update
Canadian Sailing Team Invitational Training Camp/Event
The first Canadian Sailing Team Invitational Training Camp/Event wrapped up over the weekend, August 29th, 2020 at Portsmouth Olympic Harbour in Kingston, ON.
This training event was an opportunity to create an intense racing environment focused on enhancing racing skills for our Olympic hopefuls during a time when attending international competitions is a challenge. It also provided an opportunity to bring together the Canadian Sailing Team, Canadian Sailing Development Squad and Canadian Sailing Youth Squad to race and learn all together. This created tremendous value for not only the development sailors to test their skills against Canada’s best, but also the CST sailors as they could provide guidance and mentorship to the next generation of Olympic athletes.

Here is what we are looking for:
- Action shots of Canadians enjoying the waters in dinghies, keelboats, or powerboats in racing, learning or leisure settings
- Photos that capture our breathtaking shorelines, harbours, clubs, regattas or awesome skies
If your photos fit the script, please send them to us at email@example.com!
CANSail Program Survey 2020
As the 2020 sailing season is winding down, we’d love to hear from you. Please take a few minutes to share some information about the CANSail Training Program at your club. There are questions in this survey for programs that did and did not operate in 2020. We will use the information you provide to help support clubs, schools, and programs preparing for the 2021 sailing season.
