Sail Canada – CANSail Program is now a Recognized Training Program by World Sailing
 
After 18 months of, working with World Sailing to review the CANSail program against the World Sailing Training Standards, Sail Canada is proud to announce that its CANSail programming is now a “Recognized Training Program” by World Sailing.

2019 Hempel Youth Sailing World Championships

 
 
The 2019 Hempel Youth Sailing World Championships kicked off in Gdynia, Poland!
 
Day 2 provided sailors with better winds than Day 1 allowing all fleets to get off all races scheduled for the day. Laser Radial boys, Ryan Anderson (RNSYS) came back from yesterday’s BFD stronger than ever scoring an impressive bullet in race one followed by a 6th and 14th finish in the highly competitive 58 boat fleet. Ryan currently sits in 4th overall!

Tayte Stefaniuk

 
 
Well known Canadian Laser Radial sailor, Tayte Stefaniuk (RNSYS), is no rookie to international competitions. Pushing his way to be amongst the strongest in his age group, this athlete showed us how hard work pays off. Keeping to the top of the fleet with multiple first-place finishes throughout the week, Tayte finished the event 4th out of 125 boats.
