Research Opportunity for Injured Athletes in Canada

Research Study Title:  Mental Toughness and Injury Rehabilitation Behaviours in Elite Youth Sport in Canada

Study Overview & Significance of the Research:

Athlete Mental Toughness is a recognized and valued quality in sporting communities, yet our understanding of this construct remains incomplete. There is a significant knowledge gap particularly in the context of elite youth sport. This study will provide evidence about the role between elite athletes’ mental toughness and their injury recovery behaviours.

Who can participate?

 

You are…

·      16, 17 or 18 years old,

·      a high-performance athlete (e.g., AA or AAA team; elite leagues or clubs, recruited or played for Provincial or National representative teams)

·      currently injured requiring time away from competition

Compensation:

For your participation, you will receive a $20 E-gift card of your choice from either Esso Gas, Lululemon Clothing or Starbucks Coffee.
