Para-Athletics Athlete Suspended for the Presence of Hydromorphone
Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport (CCES) – (Ottawa, Ontario – September 11, 2019) – The Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport (CCES) announced today that Janz Stein, a para-athletics athlete, received a four-month sanction for an anti-doping rule violation. The athlete’s urine sample, collected during in-competition doping control on July 25, 2019, revealed the presence of hydromorphone, a prohibited narcotic.
