Ottawa Sport Council: Register now for the OSC Community Sport Slack Workspace

The Ottawa Sport Council is pleased to launch the OSC Community Sport Slack Workspace to help members of community sport in Ottawa stay connected. Slack is a widely used, channel-based messaging platform. It will be used to share ideas and resources, ask questions, and connect with others to strengthen the community sport sector in Ottawa.

The OSC Community Sport Slack Workspace will be launched with the continued support from the Ontario Trillium Foundation’s Resilient Communities Fund as part of the Rebound program. The program will complement and enhance the resources found in the Ottawa Return to Play Roadmap. The Slack Workspace will be an ongoing legacy of the Rebound program.

How to get registered today:

  • Register for the OSC Community Sport Slack Workspace: Click here to register for the OSC Community Sport Slack Workspace.Once you have registered, you will receive an email with the link to access the workspace and other information including how to create a slack account if you do not have one. 
  • You will also receive the OSC Slack Protocols and Rules of Engagement. Please review the protocols and rules of engagement prior to accessing the workspace. The protocols and rules of engagement are designed to create a welcoming, inclusive digital environment where everyone can join the conversation.
  • If you want to learn more about Slack: Click here to find out more about how to get started with Slack. This document will help you understand the key words and functions within the Slack platform, and direct you to more information from the Slack Help Centre.
