Ontario Lawn Bowls Association Cancels Provincial Playdowns

The Board of Directors of the Ontario Lawn Bowls Association announced today the cancellation of all 2020 Ontario Lawn Bowls Association Provincial Playdowns due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Provincial Playdowns were to be played at the following locations:

June 13-14, 2020  Women and Men’s Open Fours Oshawa Lawn Bowling Club
June 27-28, 2020 Women’s Open Pairs Leaside Lawn Bowling Club
June 27-28, 2020  Men’s Open Pairs    Agincourt Lawn Bowling Club
July 4-5, 2020 Youth Under 18-Singles Etobicoke Lawn Bowling Club
July 11-12, 2020 Women’s Open Singles   Glenridge Lawn Bowling Club (St. Catharines)
July 11-12, 2020   Men’s Open Singles  Heritage Greens Lawn Bowling Club (Kitchener)
August 8-9, 2020 Mixed Pairs  Galetta Lawn Bowling Club
August 15-16, 2020 Novice Mixed  Combo Fours Woodstock Lawn Bowling Club
August 25-26, 2020 Senior Women’s Triples Midland Lawn Bowling Club
August 25-26, 2020 Senior Men’s Triples Muskoka Lawn Bowling Club
September 12-13, 2020 Men’s and Women’s Triples  Burlington Lawn Bowling Club
September. 19-20, 2020 Novice Men/Women Singles Hanover Lawn Bowling Club
September 26-27, 2020  Women’s and Men’s Indoor Singles  Monora Lawn Bowling Club (Orangeville)

The Ontario Lawn Bowls Association is the governing body for lawn bowling in Ontario, In affiliation with Bowls Canada Boulingrin, its mandate is to promote, encourage, coordinate and administer the sport of Lawn Bowls and provide opportunities for all bowlers of all ages in Ontario to participate at their level of interest and ability.
