Olympians, Rising Stars, and World Cup Medalists in Action in Gatineau

June 2, 2025 (Gatineau) – Eighteen athletes will represent Canada at the Canada Cup of Diving, a World Aquatics-recognized event taking place in Gatineau from June 5 to 8. Among them are 2024 Olympic medalists Rylan Wiens and Nathan Zsombor-Murray, as well as Olympian Margo Erlam, who will be making their return to international competition after several months off following the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.  

Spectators will also enjoy performances from several athletes who have stood out on the international stage in recent years, including Quebecers Cédric Fofana (Tokyo 2021 Olympian), Sonya Palkhivala (2022 World Junior Champion and silver medalist at the 2025 Diving World Cup), and Matt Cullen (2022 World Junior Champion and bronze medalist at the 2025 World Cup).

Emerging talent will also be in the spotlight. Young Ella Lindsay from Ottawa will have the opportunity to compete in front of family and friends in her very first senior international competition. Quebec’s Claude-Olivier Lisé-Coderre, bronze medalist at the 2024 World Junior Championships, will also be making his debut on the senior international stage.

They will have the chance to compete against athletes from 10 countries, including Australia, the United States, and Japan, all aiming for a spot on the podium.
