Next Sport Tourism Canada’s PRESTIGE AWARDS to be awarded in 2023

Sport Tourism Canada’s PRESTIGE Awards celebrate the people, places and events that make the $7.4 billion Canadian sport tourism industry so dynamic. These awards have historically been presented annually to honour individuals, companies and organizations that have made outstanding contributions to the success of the sport tourism industry.

Because so many sport events have been postponed or cancelled in 2020 and 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the next edition of the PRESTIGE Awards will be in spring/winter 2023. The nomination period will open in the Fall of 2022 and nominations will be accepted for events and accomplishments in sport hosting that occurred in the calendar years of 2020, 2021 and 2022.

We look forward to celebrating outstanding accomplishments in sport tourism in 2023 and sharing the success stories of sport hosting during the recovery to help show the vibrancy and resiliency of our sector!
