BC Rugby – UBC Thunderbirds claimed their first CanadaWest title last weekend, defeating Calgary Dinos 26-12. Both teams will now play in the U-Sport National Championships in Ottowa in November.
BC Provincial player and UBC Back Row Lyric Atchison was honoured as the 2019 winner of the prestigious Tom Longboat Award at Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony.

Top junior male players from across the province took part in an identification camp at Burnaby Lake hosted by Rugby Canada this weekend.
