Mentorship for Women Coaches

The Coaches Association of Ontario is excited to announce that registration is now open for the 2019 Mentorship Program!  

 

Who are our program members?

Apprentices

Women coaches looking to grow further as a coach and leader and/or women who want to become a coach for the first time.
 

Mentors

Experienced coaches who want to get involved in supporting female apprentices in their coach and leadership development (both male and female coaches accepted as mentors)

Why Mentor?

 

Mentoring will help enrich your coaching toolkit by providing you with support from mentor coaches who are experienced leaders and experts in their sport.

It will also give you the an opportunity to learn from peers and leaders across the Ontario sport system.

 

CTG Mentorship Participants Receive:

 

1-on-1 Mentorship

Apprentices and mentors are matched based on their submitted criteria and together develop their own individual learning plan for the year, supported by resources from the Coaches Association of Ontario.

 

Access to Sport-specific Experts

Participants have free access to experts from each sport who are available to help apprentices fine-tune skill development.

 

Training Bursaries

Apprentices will receive a program bursary to be used toward professional development, and also have access to Quest for Gold Coach Bursaries for Comp Intro NCCP courses.

 

PD Webinars & Events

CTG coaches have free access to CAO hosted PD events (online and in-person). All events are recorded in The Locker and awarded PD points.

Each program participant will receive their own welcome kit, which will include a mentorship guide, CTG swag & more!
