Montreal, February 14, 2020 – Diving Plongeon Canada wishes to advise the media that accreditation for the 2020 FINA/CNSG Diving World Series is still open and can be requested by filling out the online form. The world-class competition will take place from February 28th to March 1st at the Montreal Olympic Park Sports Centre. The official press conference will be held on Thursday, February 27th at 10:30 am, at INS Quebec.

PARTICIPATING ATHLETES
A total of 78 athletes from 14 leading diving nations have confirmed their attendance. The international field will feature 14 Olympic medalists, as well as 25 medallists from the 2019 World Championships. Amongst them are diving superstars Jennifer Abel (CAN | 3m, 3m synchro), Meaghan Benfeito (CAN | 10m, 10m synchro), David Boudia (USA | 3m, 3m synchro), Tom Daley (GBR | 10m, 10m synchro), Ivan Garcia (MEX | 10m synchro) and Maddison Keeney (AUS | 3m, 3m synchro).

TICKET INFORMATION
Tickets are still available and may be purchased online at www.diving.ca/worldseries. Tickets range from $12 to $25 per day. Special rates are available for the three-day passes as well as for children 12 and under.
Those wishing to meet with Olympic athletes and medallists can also purchase tickets for the “VIP with Despatie” treatment. Hosted by diving legend Alexandre Despatie, this new initiative will deliver an upscale VIP experience featuring complementary high-end food and drinks as well as access to the best seats in the house.
BROADCAST DETAILS
In Canada, the event will be web-streamed by CBC and Radio-Canada. Segments of the competition will also air on CBC’s Road to the Olympic Games on Saturday, February 29th and March 7th at 4pm.
It will also be broadcast as a four-part series on RDS hosted by Alexandre Despatie from April 15th through to May 9th.
