Markel Inc. and Sport Law Join Forces to Provide Value-Added Legal and Support Services to Sport Organizations

June 5, 2024 – Markel, one of the world’s largest insurance underwriters for sport, and Sport Law, a leading sport management firm that specializes in legal and leadership solutions, are launching a new initiative to enhance the insurance experience of policy holders.

As a caring and forward-thinking corporation, Markel is deeply committed to not only mitigating risks in sport but also enhancing the lived experience of participants. Launching Markel Play aligns with Markel’s global vision of providing exceptional insurance products to clients and additional needed services. Markel Play’s main components include:
