Luge Athletes to be Nominated to Beijing 2022 Canadian Olympic Team while connecting with Elementary school students in Canada’s northern communities

TORONTO— Luge Canada and the Canadian Olympic Committee will announce the luge athletes nominated to compete for Team Canada at Beijing 2022 on Tuesday, January 18 at 10 a.m. ET.

The announcement will be made while connecting the newly named Olympians with elementary school students in Canada’s north. Immediately following the official announcement, the athletes will inspire students in northern communities of Sioux Lookout, Mine Centre, Fort Frances, and Nestor Falls to “Chase their Dreams.”

Media are invited to the official announcement. Athletes will be available for interviews immediately following the presentation to the students.
