Lac la Biche named new host of 2022 3D Indoor Championships

The Canadian Indoor 3D Championships, which were recently cancelled in Nova Scotia, has been given a second chance this year and will now be heading to Lac la Biche, Alberta. The Championships will take place April 15th-17th 2022. Following the exploration of a number of options over the past two weeks, the event has been awarded to Lakeland Archers, who with their experience in hosting international and domestic events are working hard to ensure a quality event will be delivered in April.

We are excited to be able to see this event take place in 2022, since it has had to be cancelled the past two years.  The event will be a great opportunity for the local community of Lac la Biche to host archers from across the country and showcase the hospitality for which the region is known. The Canadian 3D Indoor Championships were to have been hosted in Lac la Biche in 2021 but were cancelled due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

The 3D Indoor Championships will be open to the following equipment and age categories:
             Barebow Senior Classes only
             Instinctive Senior Classes only
             Longbow Senior Classes Only
             Known 50 Senior Classes Only
             Hunter Senior Classes Only
Compound Fixed Pins Senior Classes Only
             Compound Unlimited
Traditional Master, Junior, Cadet, Cub and Pre-Cub Classes

Information of registration, and event logistics will be made available shortly on the 3D Archery Championships website: https://3dchampionships.ca/
