Sport for Life is pleased to announce Eric Myles as a keynote presenter for the upcoming 2021 Virtual Sport for Life Canadian Summit. Opens in a new window
He will bring a unique Quebec perspective to the proceedings, sharing his expertise with delegates from all over the world. His address will take place on Jan. 28, 2021, as part of the two-day Francophone program.
“As our industry faces life post-pandemic and examines ways we can innovate and adapt to this new reality, it’s experts like Eric Myles who will be leading the way. Eric is the Chief Sport Officer for the Canadian Olympic Committee (COC) Opens in a new window. He is responsible for the Games, and relations with both the Canadian and international sport systems. He regularly collaborates with active and non-active Olympic athletes. Eric has a wealth of experience in sport, education, and health, including 12 years as co-founder and director of Québec en Forme, an organization that promotes the adoption and maintenance of an active lifestyle and healthy diet, essential to the full development of young Quebecers.
Eric has held a number of positions during his 18-year career, including Director of Sport Studies at Academy Les Estacades. He also co-founded the Complexe Sportif Alphonse-Desjardins in Trois-Rivières, Quebec. He competes and coaches at sprinting, canoeing and kayaking at the international level. He holds an Executive MBA from McGill and the HEC Montréal, as well as diplomas in physical activity and school administration.

The Summit will be held virtually from Jan. 26 to 29 and Feb. 2 to 4, 2021. This year’s theme is Pathway to Policy.
