Judges named for the 2023 Canada Winter Games

CHARLOTTETOWN, PE – Archery Canada is happy to announce the judges that are attending the 2023 Canada Winter Games, which will take place in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. The archery competition will be taking place in the second week of the event, officially starting on March 1, 2023.

Robert Pannell from Saskatchewan will assume the position of Director of Shooting (DOS) for the competition. Michael Oneschuk (MB) and Mark Côté (ON) will act as the Judge Chair and Deputy Chair, respectively. The rest of the judging team will be made up of Ann Neumeyer (AB), Elizabeth Horlock (ON), and Lee Hart (SK). The judges selected are a mix of continental and international judges, who have been chosen to help develop newer national judges while they get accustomed to officiating match play.

There will be female and male individual compound and recurve categories, as well as a mixed team competition for each bow type. 

The 2023 Canada Winter Games are happening from February 18, 2023 to March 4, 2023 in the province of Prince Edward Island.
