Jeremy Hazin is the winner of the 2020 Westchester Open, hosted February 22-23, 2020 in Pleasantville in the United States.

“I didn’t have any expectations for this event. I just wanted to get some practice matches in because I have not played many tournaments in the last few months. It was a good event to test my level.

Jeremy won the Open Singles event before, back in October 2018. “I was used to the club and had a good feeling. I was confident going into my matches.” said Jeremy. He continued “I didn’t have any expectations for this event. I just wanted to get some practice matches in because I have not played many tournaments in the last few months. It was a good event to test my level. It feels really good to win the title. I just tried my best to play like the way I trained and based on the results I’m going on the right track.”

On the way to the first place, he went by the three Alguetti brothers:

FINAL: Jeremy Hazin def. Sharon Alguetti (9,-3,-4,7,7)
SEMI FINAL: Jeremy Hazin def. Gal Alguetti (-8,9,7,-7,8)
QUARTER FINAL: Jeremy Hazin def. Adar Alguetti (7,7,9)

“We are all very proud at TTCAN with the recent win by Jeremy Hazin at the February 22-23 Westchester Open. This is a very good result for our Canadian. I am sure that the Alguetti family is not very happy with Jeremy, as he beat 3 members of the family in the same event. Westchester and other tournaments in the USA are great events for our Canadian players to compete, and try to win. Jeremy is setting a great example for other Canadians.” Said Adham Sharara, TTCAN President.
