OTTAWA, ON – Giving Tuesday is November 30 and the Canadian Archery Foundation (CAF), through Archery Canada, is launching a campaign to raise funds for the Canadian team heading to the 2022 3D World Championships, taking place in Italy in September 2022.
The goal of this campaign is to raise $5,000.00. All donations will be eligible for a tax receipt and directed by Archery Canada to the CAF in support of this campaign. These funds will help cover the cost of sending a team manager, as well as subsidizing the travel costs for the athletes.
Canada will strive to submit a full team of 24 athletes across four different bow types (compound, barebow, longbow, instinctive). As part of this campaign, anything that you give will be instrumental in supporting the athletes who will wear the maple leaf in Italy next year.
About CAF: The Canadian Archery Foundation was established by a group of dedicated and seasoned archers whose sole aim is to promote the sport and attract funding through donations, with the goal of identifying those athletes in the sport of archery who have achieved excellence and being able to provide financial assistance for competition travel expenses, education (WW Gunter Memorial Scholarship), and training.
