OTTAWA – Football Canada announced today that they had reached an agreement with PurpleShift to provide enhanced access to the evaluation platform for its members. PurpleShift is an app that allows athletes to measure their talents against other members local, national and even globally. The app was launched earlier this year by Micah Awe, a linebacker with the Ottawa RedBlacks.

“PurpleShift gives athletes a platform to show off their athleticism, compete with friends, and bridge the gap between athletes and recruiters,” said Jamie Geisler, Manager of Sponsorship and Member Services for Football Canada. “We are very excited to partner with PurpleShift and offer this as a free tool for Football Canada members across the country.”

PurpleShift is a recruiting, health, fitness, and social media app designed to objectively determine athletic ability.

“PurpleShift was founded to create opportunity and hope to all athletes no matter who you are or who you know. This is a feat that cannot be done alone, but with our partnership with Football Canada this is possible,” said Awe. “We vow to do all we can to serve all athletes who are a part of the Football Canada ecosystem and make an enjoyable PurpleShift experience.” The company was founded on the belief that sports should be completely objective. PurpleShift is an all inclusive sports app that allows anyone to see where they are ranked globally, locally or anywhere in between in many different categories.

For athletes looking to get to the next level, PurpleShift is used by many scouts looking to find their next diamond in the rough! Not a serious athlete but happen to have natural athletic talent? Prove it and receive bragging rights from all of your friends! The app allows athletes to record verified data without needing to travel to a combine or camp.
The PurpleShift app is available for iPhone and Android machines, and can also be accessed at PurpleShiftLive.com.
