Sport for Life Society – Winnipeg, MB – We’re getting excited about our upcoming International Physical Literacy Conference (IPLC) 2019 Winnipeg, running from May 7 to 10. There’s still time for you to join one of the most innovative conferences in the world of physical literacy. But hurry, today is the deadline to register at the regular rate!
#1. Activate Knowledge
Surrounded by hundreds of like-minded professionals, attendees will not only be exposed to new ideas but also given the practical tools to put this learning into action. Because physical literacy crosses sectors, this is an opportunity to witness some of the compelling work being done by other organizations and discover opportunities to innovate based on that knowledge.
#2. Network with Thought Leaders
The people who present at IPLC 2019 are the ones making waves in the physical literacy community. People such as keynotes Dr. Dean Dudley, Dr. John Cairney, Catherine Carty, Dr. Guy Faulkner, Dr. Dean Kriellaars, and Dr. Stephane Lenoski. You might not know their names now, but you should. They’re leading us into the future.
#3. Learn to Inspire
Through our workshops, you will team up with other industry professionals to discuss ways Long-Term Development pathways can be developed, how more multisport initiatives can be introduced to communities, and ways you can take your organization or team to the next level.
#4. Get Social
It’s not all work, work work at these conferences. You’ll also have plenty of time to get network with other physical literacy professionals over a coffee or a drink or two. Over the course of the three days you’ll get the chance to meet hundreds of people, including at an event hosted by the Canadian Museum for Human Rights.

We don’t believe in being stagnant, so we’re constantly looking at ways to streamline and improve our resources and services.
