Figure Skaters headed to Red Deer AB for 2019 Canada Winter Games

Skate Canada – WINNIPEG, MB.  January 24, 2019  Skate Canada Manitoba is pleased to announce our Manitoba Figure Skating Athletes who will be competing in Pre-Novice and Novice Women, Novice Men and Pre-Novice Pairs at this years Canada Winter Games as part of Team TOBA.. The competition dates for Figure Skating are February 25th – February 28th, 2019 and the competition will be taking place at the Gary W. Harris Canada Games Centre in Red Deer AB.

FIGURE SKATING ATHLETES
Pre-Novice Women:  Breken Brezden (Skate Dauphin) and Annika Duguay                                                  (Carberry Figure Skating Club)
            Alternate: Cecilia Howes (Skate Winnipeg)
 
Pre-Novice Pairs:  Jade Pilat (East St. Paul Figure Skating Club) & Emmet Dewar                                   (East St. Paul Figure Skating Club)
 
Novice Women:   Chanel Cabak (Portage Skating Club) and Emma King                                                (Skate Winnipeg)
            Alternate:  Julia Patenaude (Holland Figure Skating Club)

Novice Men:  Yonathan Elizarov (Skate Winnipeg)
 

Skate Canada Manitoba Chair – Donna Yee stated that “our entire organization is extremely proud of the skaters who will be representing Team TOBA at this years Games in Red Deer.  All of the athletes have worked very hard to achieve this goal and we know they will be great ambassadors for our province.”
