TORONTO, ON (April 15, 2025) – Fast and Female Supporting Women in Sport Foundation has officially rebranded as Girls Forward Foundation, marking 20 years of championing girls through sport and physical activity. The new identity was unveiled on April 10 at a celebratory event with donors, partners, and supporters.
“This rebrand reflects our growth and renewed commitment to empowering girls across Canada,” said Gabriela Estrada, Executive Director. “Girls Forward allows us to connect with our community in a bold, inclusive, and meaningful way.”
The rebrand was made possible through the inaugural No Small Change grant from Atom Studio. Valued at $40,000, the grant included research strategy and execution from Cashew, brand strategy and story development from Midtown Mystery, brand identity design from Atom Studio, and social media training from Beverley Theresa.

Visual storytelling for the rebrand was created in partnership with Unmanned AV, translating the Foundation’s mission into compelling photography and a hero video.
“It’s been an honour to collaborate with the Girls Forward team on this exciting project,” said Kyle Christie, Co-founder and Chief Marketing Officer of Unmanned AV. “We’ve worked together to translate the Foundation’s core values into powerful visuals through film and photography, showcasing the deep impact they have on the lives of girls across Canada.”
The Foundation has now fully transitioned its website and social media channels to reflect the new name. While the look is new, the mission remains the same: to empower girls through sport and physical activity, helping them discover strength, voice, and leadership.
