Fair, Safe and Open Sport in Canada Receives a Welcome Boost
Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport – (Ottawa, Ontario – March 20, 2019) – The Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport (CCES) vision statement is: Sport in Canada that is fair safe and open to everyone. The additional $6 million in Federal Budget 2019 to promote accessible, ethical, equitable and safe sport in Canada is welcome news! Values-based sport is accessible, ethical, equitable and safe – and these are the characteristics being bolstered in Canadian sport as announced in Budget 2019.
