Dressage/Para-Dressage Competition Handbook Moved to Four-Year Cycle

Ottawa, ON, Sept. 16, 2020 – Equestrian Canada (EC) will be moving the Dressage/Para-Dressage Competition Handbook to a four-year cycle, matching the United States Dressage Federation (USDF) update cycle for national tests.

The 2020 Dressage/Para-Dressage Competition Handbook is currently available for download at www.equestrian.ca/sport/dressage/tests. To align with the USDF update schedule, the following printed and online editions will cover a two-year span of 2021-2022. Starting in 2023 with the release of the new national tests, the Dressage/Para-Dressage Competition Handbook will be updated every four years.

This new, bilingual online and print format will focus exclusively on the national level and allow for streamlined production.

In 2021, the Dressage/Para-Dressage Competition Handbook will continue to be mailed annually at no charge to all active EC sport Licence Holders who indicate dressage or para-dressage as a primary discipline, as well as renew their licence before April 1st each year. Opportunities to order additional copies of the handbook will be available through the EC online store.
