Caps Day of Six Canadians Earning FIS World Cup Points

Calgary, Alta. (November 27, 2022) – James (Jack) Crawford (Toronto, ON) skied to a 10th place finish in the season opening super-G on a cool, snowy day at the FIS Alpine Ski World Cup at Lake Louise. It’s Crawford’s 8th top 10 finish in World Cup competition and his best performance on Canadian soil.

Along with Crawford, seven other Canadians took to the slopes in Lake Louise with three picking up World Cup Points. Brodie Seger (North Vancouver, BC) finished 13th, Jeffrey Read (Canmore, AB) 21st and
Riley Seger (Vancouver, BC) 27th.

Meanwhile on a warm day at the FIS World Cup in Killington, Vermont, four Canadian women raced in front of a boisterous crowd. Ali Nullmeyer (Toronto, ON) finished 14th and Amelia Smart (Invermere,
BC) finished 16th, with both scoring FIS World Cup points.

Next Race

 The Women are in Lake Louise next week, December 2-4, with downhill races on Friday and Saturday and the super-G on Sunday.

 The Men are in Beaver Creek, Colorado, and like the women will race downhill on Friday and Saturday, and super-G on Sunday.
