Celebrate National Coaches Week in Manitoba Sept. 19-27, 2020

September 17, 2020, Winnipeg MB – National Coaches Week encourages Canadians to say thanks and to celebrate the tremendous positive impact coaches have on athletes and communities. This week is an opportunity to recognize coaches for the integral role they play by simply saying #ThanksCoach.

Here’s what is happening in Manitoba during the 6th annual National Coaches Week:

Social Media Campaign
Sport Manitoba Coaching will be posting #ThanksCoach videos and messages from a few high-profile athletes to highlight and encourage athletes of all levels throughout Manitoba to thank their coaches on social media.  Athletes can post a video or message on Twitter, Instagram, or Facebook with the hashtag #ThanksCoach and tag @SportManitoba on Twitter and Instagram or @SportMB on Facebook

FREE Courses
There are many NCCP courses being offered for free this week both via the Coaching Association of Canada (The Locker) and Sport Manitoba Coaching. See our news & events page for a full listing.

Giveaways!
Sport Manitoba Coaching will be giving away Coaching Association of Canada swag, gift cards, and more throughout the week for those who post a message or video thanking their coaches! Keep yourself dialed into Sport Manitoba’s Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook for details.
