CCES Statement Regarding COVID-19
(Ottawa, Ontario – March 13, 2020) – The Canadian Centre for Ethics in
Sport (CCES) is aware of the effects that the rapidly evolving COVID-19
situation is having on athletes and sport events in Canada and abroad.
We remind athletes to update their whereabouts to reflect changes caused
by event cancellations and altered travel plans. Update whereabouts
through the
ADAMS portal.
We reaffirm that the health and wellbeing of athletes and sample
collection personnel is our top concern. We are mindful of the advice of
public health authorities and encourage all to adhere to it as a means
to reduce the risk of disease transmission.
