Canada Soccer’s Women’s U-20 National Team (CANW20) has secured a spot in the 2025 Concacaf Women’s U-20 Championship. Competing in Group E of the 2025 Concacaf Women’s U-20 Qualifiers in Port of Spain, Trinidad, CANW20 dominated the group stage, securing three decisive victories over Dominica, Bermuda, and Trinidad and Tobago to finish at the top of their group.

CANW20’s attack was on full display during the Concacaf Women’s Under-20 Championship Qualifiers. The team opened with a historic 22-0 win over Dominica, marking the second-largest margin of victory in the tournament’s history. Kaylee Hunter led the charge with five goals, while Natelle El Mokbel added four. Kierra Blundell and Léa Larouche each contributed three goals, with Jadea Collin, Annabelle Chukwu, Iba Oching, Ava Greco, and Sienna Gibson each adding to the tally, showcasing Canada’s impressive offensive depth.
The momentum carried in a dominant 9-0 win over Bermuda, highlighted by a brace from both Jeneva Hernandez-Gray and Ella Kettles. Annabelle Chukwu, Iba Oching, Teegan Melenhorst, Kierra Blundell, and Kaylee Hunter all found the back of the net.
In their final Qualifiers match, CANW20 defeated Trinidad & Tobago 12-0. Both Kierra Blundell and Annabelle Chukwu scored hat tricks, while Léa Larouche, Kaylee Hunter, Teegan Melenhorst, Juliette Perreault, Ella Kettles, and Jeneva Hernandez-Gray each scored one goal.
CANW20 made history at the Concacaf Women’s U-20 Championship Qualifiers, recording 43 goals and three clean sheets throughout the competition. With this performance, the team’s all-time tournament totals now stand at 237 goals and 36 clean sheets. Kaylee Hunter and Kierra Blundell led the charge as the tournament’s joint top scorers with seven goals each, while Annabelle Chukwu added six. Léa Larouche and Natelle El Mokebel each tallied four goals, contributing to a dynamic attacking display that saw 13 different players find the scoresheet.
The 2025 Concacaf Women’s U-20 Championship will include eight Concacaf Member Associations and be played in a to-be-confirmed centralized venue in May. The eight teams will be split into two groups of four each. After round-robin play, the group winners and runners-up will advance to the semifinals and qualify for the 2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in Poland.
Other Concacaf nations that have qualified for the 2025 Concacaf Women’s U-20 Championship alongside Canada include Puerto Rico, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Guyana, and Panama joining pre-seeded top-ranked teams the United States and Mexico.
