Ringette Canada – Ottawa, ON – October 1, 2019 – Ringette Canada is pleased to announce the Canadian officials who have been selected for the upcoming 2019 World Ringette Championships taking place from November 25 to December 1, 2019 at Bill Copeland Sports Centre in Burnaby. 

Karen Meek (Bowmanville, ON), Amy Murray (Courtice, ON) and Jaimie Nelson (High River, AB) will act as Canada’s on-ice officials, while Nancy Desfonds (Gatineau, QC) and Mike Murphy (Rusagonis, NB) will act as shot-clock operators for the event.

 “We are very proud of our officiating program and are privileged that it continuously develops exceptional officials at every level of our sport,” said Kelsey McIntosh, Technical Director, Ringette Canada. “Karen, Amy, Jaimie, Nancy and Mike have repeatedly proven their officiating capabilities and we are pleased they will represent us on the world stage in Burnaby.”
