Canadian Indoor Rowing Challenge registration closes Monday September 14
Registration for the Canadian Indoor Rowing Challenge, a new virtual event developed for rowers and fitness enthusiasts alike taking place September 19 to 20, 2020, closes this Monday, September 14.
The event features a full range of 500m, 1,000m and 2,000m events in a variety of Senior, Junior, Para and Masters categories. In addition, there will be races for CrossFit athletes and coxswains as well as a special team event.
Anyone with access to a Concept2 rowing machine can participate* by submitting their results online within the 48-hour event window.
Individuals can also choose to register for the HomeRace Challenge, real-time virtual races against High Performance rowers on Saturday September 19.
Late entries will be accepted (late fees will apply) unless you are taking part in the HomeRace Challenge option (in which case you must register by the September 14 deadline).

Prizes
All Canadian registrants will be entered into a draw for the GRAND PRIZE of an indoor rowing machine, which will be shipped directly to the winner. The winner will have the option of choosing between a Concept2 or WaterRower machine (of up to a maximum value of CAD$2000).
The top three finishers in each race category will receive a digital certificate. In the event that there are three or less entries in a race category, certificates will be allocated using the ‘Minus One’ rule (for example, if there are only three entries in a race, only certificates for first and second place will be awarded). Certificates will not be awarded in race categories with just one participant.
In addition, Canadian certificate recipients will be entered into a draw for one of the following 12 RCA merchandise packages:

Winners will be notified by email following the conclusion of the Canadian Indoor Rowing Challenge. Confirmation of mailing address will be required for all prize winners.
* RCA permits the use of ergometers indoors for individual use only. Indoor group erg training is not advised. Please refer to the medical section of the Competitor Handbook for more information.
