Canada’s Best to Host Olympic and World Championship Medallists in Return of FINA Diving Grand Prix Canada Cup to Calgary….Media invited to Canadian team training, June 8, at 11:30 a.m – 1:40 p.m., competition set for June 9-12

CALGARY—Team Canada will host 68 of the world’s best divers representing eight countries who are ready to make a splash in Calgary for the lone Canadian stop of the FINA Diving Grand Prix set for the

MNP Community and Sport Centre, June 9-12.

The 19 divers wearing Canadian colours will hold a media availability on the pool deck following their training session on June 8 from 11:30 a.m. – 1:40 p.m. MTN. Calgary Olympian Caeli McKay, who

now resides in Montreal, will not be competing in the Grand Prix but will be training in Calgary and available to media.

The FINA Diving Grand Prix returns to Calgary following a two-year hiatus. The Grand Prix competition schedule includes all Olympic events including women’s and men’s 3m springboard, 10m platform,

3m springboard synchro, and 10m platform synchro along with two mixed synchro finals

Limited tickets for Saturday and Sunday’s finals are available online at https://diving.ca/canadacup/ Tickets are priced from $10 to $30 per day. Special rates are offered for children under 10. Thursday

and Friday’s preliminaries and semi-finals are open to the public.

All media must RSVP to Chris Dornan at hpprchris@shaw.ca in advance of the event to receive media credentials for the Grand Prix Canada in Calgary.
