Canada Soccer’s Men’s U-18 National Team Squad for Friendlies in Finland

Canada Soccer has announced its Men’s U-18 National Team squad for an upcoming preparation camp in Finland from 30 August to 8 September.

As part of the camp, CANM18 will face Finland on 5 September and Switzerland on 7 September. This camp marks an important step in the lead-up to the 2027 FIFA U-20 World Cup™, with the qualification cycle beginning in 2026 at the U-19 level.

“We’re excited to bring this group together as we take an important step in preparing for the next FIFA U-20 World Cup cycle. This will be a first event for the 2007 born generation and an opportunity to assess the talent pool prior to integrating some of Canada’s top 2008 performers at the U17 World Cup this November. With the increase in youth camps across our programs, we’re creating more opportunities than ever for players to grow within our environment and be ready for the challenges ahead.” – Andrew Olivieri, Canada Soccer’s Men’s Youth Excel Director
