Canada Soccer’s Men’s U-17 National Team Squad for Training Camp in Spain

Canada Soccer has announced their Men’s U-17 National Team squad for an upcoming training camp. Canada will play Japan on 5 June and USA on 7 June in Albir, Spain.

This will be the first project for the program following Canada’s qualification for the 2025 FIFA U-17 World Cup™ in February. CANM17 dominated the group stage of the Concacaf U-17 Qualifiers, winning all four matches, outscoring opponents by 26 goals and not conceding a single goal from open play. They now are focused on preparing for the FIFA U-17 World Cup, which will be played in Qatar in November of this year, with groups drawn on Sunday, 25 May.

“Qualifying for the U-17 World Cup with conviction was a proud moment for our program — but it’s only the beginning. As we enter the preparation phase and face top-tier opponents, our players and staff must embrace the challenge and push our limits. This Spain camp is a crucial step in raising our standard and building the resilience needed on the world stage.” – Mike Vitulano, Men’s U-17 National Team Head Coach and Men’s Regional Excel Director
