Following an investigation into separate incidents at BMO Field on 9 May 2023, Canada Soccer’s Disciplinary Panel has informed Toronto FC in a disciplinary letter dated 26 May 2023 of its findings and fines. Toronto FC has been issued an undisclosed monetary fine for failing to comply with the safety and security standards demanded by the match. In discussions with Toronto FC in recent weeks, the Club has reaffirmed their commitment to providing the highest security standards, ensuring that all events take place in a safe and secure environment for everyone in attendance.
