Led by Jen Herst, Canada will open the tournament against the United States on Friday 26 July (11:00 ET / 08:00 PT), followed by matches against host nation Mexico on Monday 29 July (13:00 ET / 10:00 PT), and Costa Rica on Thursday 1 August (11:00 ET / 08:00 PT). All matches will be played at the Centro de Alto Rendimiento (CAR), the Mexican Football Federation’s High Performance Centre in Mexico City.
“This tournament will be an excellent experience for our group as we continue preparing for the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup just a few months away. It’s a great opportunity to strengthen our identity, build chemistry, and integrate some new faces into the team. Facing top-level opponents in a high-performance environment will help us grow together and take another important step forward as a group.” – Jen Herst, Canada Soccer’s Women’s U-17 National Team Head Coach
The Four Nations Tournament brings together four World Cup-bound nations from the Concacaf region, offering Canada a valuable opportunity to face high-calibre opposition ahead of Morocco 2025. Canada clinched its place at the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup with a perfect group-stage run at the Concacaf Women’s U-17 Qualifiers in Nicaragua, winning all three matches to finish first and secure one of four Concacaf berths, alongside fellow group winners the United States and Mexico, and the best second-place finisher, Costa Rica.
The FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup Morocco 2025™ will be staged from 17 October to 8 November 2025. To be eligible for this year’s edition, players must be born on or after 1 January 2008. Canada’s 26-player roster for the Four Nations Tournament features 16 players born in 2008, eight in 2009, and two in 2010.
