Local watch parties in Toronto and Montreal headline new partnership; Canadian legend Christine Sinclair to attend in Toronto
Canada Soccer has announced a new partnership with Samsung Canada (Samsung) that will see the two organizations team up to host watch parties for Canadian soccer fans supporting Canada Soccers Mens National Team from home soil during the squads FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 campaign.
Canada Soccer and Samsung will co-host watch parties in Toronto, Ontario and Montreal, Quebec for Canadas group-stage matches at the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. Christine Sinclair, legendary Canada Soccer Womens National Team captain and the worlds top international goal scorer, will join fans for the opening watch party at the Samsung Experience Store at CF Eaton Centre in Toronto, Ontario on Wednesday, November 23rd, to cheer on Canada Soccers Mens National Team as the squad makes its first FIFA World Cup appearance in 36 years. Canada plays Belgium in their first match, beginning at 2:00 p.m. EST.
Soccer in Canada is continuing to grow at a rapid pace, with our teams consistently showing up on the world stage, said Steven Cull, Senior Director, Mobile Product Management, Strategy and Services, Samsung Canada. We are proud of our partnership with Canada Soccer, and look forward to welcoming Canadian soccer fans into our Samsung Experience Stores to take part in the excitement.
Fans will be able to visit the Samsung Experience Store at CF Toronto Eaton Centre in Toronto, Ontario to watch the two remaining games as well on Sunday, November 27 at 11:00 a.m. EST against Croatia and Thursday, December 1 at 10:00 a.m. EST against Morocco. The Samsung Experience Store in Montreals Centre Eaton de Montral will also host a viewing party for Canadas match against Morocco on Thursday, December 1.

The partnership, negotiated by Canadian Soccer Business, will see fans in attendance at the viewing parties have a chance to win tickets for Canada Soccer National Team home matches in 2023, as well as National Team jerseys.
