Calgary Archers Club to host 2023 Canadian 3D Indoor Championships

OTTAWA, ON — The Canadian 3D Indoor Championships is heading to Calgary, Alberta in 2023. The Championships will take place March 24th-26th, 2023. 

“Alberta has been a hotspot for 3D archery in Canada for decades,” said Aaron Bull, VP-3D for Archery Canada. “We look forward to working with the Calgary Archers Club and Tourism Calgary to continue the trend and bring the 3D Indoor Championships back to Alberta in 2023.”

Supported by the Calgary Archers Club, the 2023 Canadian 3D Indoor Championships will bring approximately more than 100 archers from across the country to the Seven Chiefs Sportsplex & Chief Jim Starlight Centre in Calgary. Lindsay Struthers, Vice President of the Calgary Archers Club said on the club’s behalf, “The Calgary Archers Club is so excited to be hosting this event. We promise a good course, a fun time, and a great event for all archers coming to Calgary!”

The 3D Indoor Championships will be open to the following equipment categories:

  • Barebow 
  • Instinctive 
  • Longbow 
  • Known 50 
  • Hunter 
  • Compound Fixed Pins 
  • Compound Unlimited
  • Traditional 

Age categories for this event will follow the Archery Canada Rule Books. Please see book 4: Field & 3D Archery, p. 4: AC 22 – Athlete’s Equipment
