Description:
Many sport organizations are turning their attention towards gender equity, but what are key practices to help create lasting change? Where should you start? Learn how to build a foundation for change through data collection and planning!
CAAWS is developing a model for embedding gender equity into sport and physical activity organizations. In this webinar, we’ll be discussing the first two crucial steps: how to collect and analyze gender equity data, and how to incorporate gender equity considerations into overall organizational planning.
Join CAAWS program manager Shelley Callaghan, research lead Dr. Shannon Kerwin, and one of our pilot organizations to learn about how the Same Game model has helped sport leaders bring gender equity to life.
Presenters:
- Shelley Callaghan, M.A., BSc and President of the Ontario Ball Hockey Federation
- Shannon Kerwin, PhD and Associate Professor, Sport Management at Brock University
This webinar will be presented in English.
CAAWS is grateful to Sport Canada for their support of this initiative.
