Boxing Athlete Suspended for the Presence of Stanozolo
(Ottawa, Ontario – March 5, 2020) – The Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport (CCES) announced today that Alexis Barrière, a boxing athlete, received a five-month sanction for an anti-doping rule violation. The athlete’s urine sample, collected during out-of-competition doping control on January 14, 2019, revealed the presence of stanozolol, a prohibited anabolic agent.
