TEAM CANADA INSIGHTS:

CROSS-COUNTRY SKIING

  • Skiing on a mission for eighth spot, the womens team of Katherine Stewart-Jones, Dahria Beatty, Cendrine Browne and Olivia Bouffard-Nesbitt mixed together their best Olympic relay result since Salt Lake City 2002, skiing into the top-10 in the 45 kilometre race with a combined time of 57:20.9.

SHORT TRACK SPEED SKATING

  • Team Canada will look for its eighth Olympic medal in the womens 3000m relay on Day 9. Kim Boutin will be chasing her fifth Olympic medal which would put her in a four-way-tie her as Canadas most decorated short track speed skater with Marc Gagnon, Franois-Louis Tremblay and Charles Hamelin (5)

SNOWBOARD

  • liot Grondin and Meryeta ODine won their second Olympic medals at Beijing 2022, a bronze in the inaugural mixed team snowboard cross event.

COVID-19 UPDATE:

Currently none of the 473 members of the Team Canada delegation in Beijing are in COVID-19 isolation.
