For ski fans, March Madness is usually the onset of peak competitions including the World Junior Championships, World Cup Finals, NorAm Finals and the Canadian National Championships.
The rapid spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) has had an undeniable impact globally and on our sport. All remaining competitions including the Canadian National Championships have been cancelled to prioritize athlete, volunteer and community safety. While this is unfortunate, Alpine Canada must first and foremost ensure our athletes, coaches, staff and ski community’s health and safety.
