9th Annual Concussion Research Symposium – NOW VIRTUAL!

The Canadian Concussion Centre, headquartered at Toronto Western Hospital, is holding its 9th Annual Concussion Research Symposium entitled “Update on Research and Care of the Concussion Spectrum of Disorders” on April 30, 2022.

The associated Public Forum entitled “Concussions in the Home and Workplace, including Falls and Interpersonal Violence: Prevention and Treatment” is on April 29.

Both will be held virtually via Zoom.

The invited speakers are:

Dr. Hana Rytter, Associate Professor in Cognitive Neuroscience and Neuropsychology at the Department of Psychology, University of Copenhagen, Denmark

Dr. Eve Valera, Associate Professor of Psychiatry at the Department of Psychiatry, Massachusetts General Hospital, USA.

Dr. Erin Bigler, Professor of Psychology and Neuroscience, at Brigham Young University, USA

Dr. Sean Rhind, Senior Defence Scientist in the Military Operational Health and Performance Section at Defence Research and Development Canada (DRDC) and Associate Professor at the University of Toronto

Dr. Oshin Vartanian, Assistant Professor Cognition and Cognitive Neuroscience, Department of Defence, University of Toronto

Dr. Keith Yeates, Professor and Head of the Department of Psychology at the University of Calgary
