2019 Canadian High School Ultimate Championships Taking Place In Ottawa, On, May 4-5th.

Ultimate Canada – May 2, 2019 — This weekend, 16 High Schools from across Canada will be arriving in Ottawa, ON, to compete for the 2019 Canadian High School Ultimate Championship (CHSUC) title.

CHSUC 2019 will take place at Carleton University from May 4-5th. The tournament will be played in a mixed gendered format with the team on offense deciding the gender ratio for the point – either four women, three men or four men, three women.

Ultimate is the only team field sport to be played co-ed from High School to the highest levels of our sport at the World Games.

“Ultimate Canada is thrilled to be hosting this event at Carleton University,” said Events Manager, Teri-Lynne Belanger. “The number of youth playing Ultimate is inspiring to see and the high school championships are often the first national level tournament for a lot of these players.”

The Kelvin Clippers of Winnipeg, MB, who took home the national title in 2018, are returning this year with a core group of players who helped them win the title last year. The team will look to repeat their title but will be challenged by last year’s silver medallists, the Bowmanville Talons, of Bowmanville, ON, and the perennial powerhouse, St Georges/York House Tight from Vancouver, BC.

Ultimate Canada is the governing body for the sport of Ultimate in Canada. The organization promotes the growth and development of Ultimate throughout the country. Visit our website at www.CanadianUltimate.com
