2018-2019 Canadian Sport Institute Calgary Annual Review
Canadian Sport Institute Calgary – To the Canadian Sport Institute Calgary Team, Partners and Stakeholders,
We are pleased to release our 2018/2019 Annual Review outlining the Canadian Sport Institute Calgary’s initiatives, accomplishments and financial summary.
This year, we highlight 25 years of elevating the athlete with a special feature on “the original four” – checking in with the four that have been with the Canadian Sport Institute Calgary since the beginning to look back on those early days, how times have changed, and where we are headed.
Highlights of this past year include:
- 960 athletes are affiliated with the Canadian Sport Institute Calgary
- We delivered 756 hours of targeted coach education
- Over 7000 physiological tests were conducted on athletes
- 1086 athletes went through the Benson Concussion Institute program
- 386 Game Plan sessions were delivered to 189 athletes
- Affiliated athletes won 21 World Championships medals
Our success would not be possible without the more than 70 dedicated practitioners that power the Canadian Sport Institute Calgary; our major sport partners; athletes and coaches; funding and performance partners; as well as sponsors.
